My Happy Moose/ Min Glada Älg

My Happy Moose

The Happy Moose was painted, in search for what might interest a 6 year old, my Swedish cousin's son.
Never having painted a moose before, I looked for inspiration.  This inspiration was found in an article from a local Swedish newspaper about a drunken moose.
This was just one of several watercolours.

After much research and practising, Calle finally got the painting that
he had commissioned.
He finally asked me if it was finished, as I was in the last stages of tweaking.
He announced that it was indeed finished;  it now sits on his wall.

Here is the final painting, completed
over a 4 week period in Sweden.

Calle's Moose
Karin's Practice Moose

This is one of the several studies of the moose, in preparation for the acrylic, pictured above.

It's Cold!
You can imagine if this adventuresome moose
is wading through water or snow.  Perhaps a bit of each.
Just another acrylic, inspired by the work done on Calle's Moose.
